Queen Mary Park is located just northwest of downtown Edmonton, keeping residents close to the action without sacrificing the residential feel. The majority of Queen Mary Park’s properties were developed between 1950 and 1970, but the construction of the nearby Ice District, including Rogers Place, has seen new developments break ground within the neighbourhood. Over 40 percent of Queen Mary Park is residential and is home to both single-detached homes and low-rise apartments. The neighbourhood boasts various amenities, along with quick access to Edmonton’s downtown core. The inner-city neighbourhood is also home to the Edmonton Cemetery (hosting some of Edmonton’s oldest monuments), elementary and high schools, and various commercial properties.
